According To the CCE system of CBSE Art education is very important. It gives more importance to co-scholastic area of a child and gives them new ideas, visions and imaginations to form and reform their life. It opens a wide horizon of colours and thoughts before the children. In this modern world, it is also a remedial subject to overcome the day-to-day stress. The Art department encourages responsiveness to new ideas and respect for individual differences by fostering: respect for oneself and one's own work (self-esteem, and a striving for excellence), respect for others and their work, and respect for other cultures and their art.
